Senior Network Security Specialist

About the role

Support projects activities in the Americas time zone with a focus on US/CA and Latam, covering Palo Alto perimeter firewall technology and Zscaler implementations.

Drive adoption of new technologies like ZIA, ZPA, and innovations with Palo Alto or related technologies.

Regularly review rulesets to harden and improve security of protected systems, ensuring compliance with the current network security environment and addressing any deviations from policy or standards in a timely manner.

Responsible for defining and implementing technical changes, consulting with business departments, and managing the operational lifecycle of security devices.

Share expertise with the team, provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to help elevate overall capability.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is required; certification in network security technology is preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant IT network or security experience, such as Firewall Admin.
• Technical knowledge in security, Zero Trust, and state-of-the-art network security technologies.
• Experience in working in globally distributed teams.

Benefits

Attractive salary range: $76,500 - $112,200.
