Senior Network Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and management of advanced enterprise network security solutions (firewalls, IDS/IPS, proxy, remote access, NAC, segmentation).
• Support and optimize large-scale network security environments for stability, security, resiliency, and scalability.
• Enforce security standards, policies, and baseline configurations across the enterprise network.
• Drive automation initiatives using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps practices; develop automation tools (Python, Ansible, Terraform).
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and operations teams to deploy integrated security solutions.
• Execute complex production changes within structured change management processes.
• Provide incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for critical network security events.
• Maintain operational documentation, standards, diagrams, and ensure compliance reporting.
• Participate in architectural discussions for zero trust, secure access, segmentation, and security modernization.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading network security initiatives in large enterprises.
• Expertise in firewall, IDS/IPS, proxy, remote access, NAC, and segmentation technologies.
• Strong understanding of security standards, policies, and baseline configurations.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps practices.
• Proficiency in Python, Ansible, Terraform, and other automation tools.
• Excellent collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with zero trust, secure access, segmentation, and security modernization architectures.
• Ability to manage complex production changes and provide effective incident response.
• Strong documentation and compliance reporting skills.
