Senior Network Engineer (Onsite)
Responsible for planning, designing, engineering configuration and troubleshooting complex data, video and voice networks. Independently interact with customers and vendors to ensure networking components of the IT infrastructure are designed, installed, configured, and maintained appropriately for intended applications. This includes all hardware and software, data and voice communications via both wired and wireless network components, networking protocols, routing, framework, third-party components, and configuration of end-user networked devices.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless networks, LAN/WAN technologies, routing protocols, network security, and hardware/software lifecycle management.
- Troubleshoot complex network connectivity issues.
- Work with Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco Nexus and Catalyst switches, Cisco wireless controllers, Cisco access points (APs), and enterprise routing and switching.
- Configure and manage OSPF routing, enterprise wireless infrastructure, F5 BIG-IP (LTM), BGP routing, and Cisco ISE.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent certifications, experience, and demonstrable knowledge.
- Five years of work experience in a medium to large-scale enterprise setting designing network infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco Nexus and Catalyst switches, Cisco wireless controllers, Cisco access points (APs), enterprise routing and switching, LAN/WAN technologies, and data center networking.
- Experience with OSPF routing, enterprise wireless infrastructure, and troubleshooting complex network connectivity issues.
- Experience with F5 BIG-IP (LTM), BGP routing, and Cisco ISE is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking concepts and network protocols.
Qualifications
- MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert) certification preferred.
- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certification preferred.
- CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) preferred.
Pay
$41.30 - $61.96 per hour. The posted pay range reflects the lowest to highest pay available for this position at the time of posting and may be subject to change. Salary offers are determined by candidate’s relevant experience and skills.
