Senior Network Engineer

About the Role

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise LAN, WAN, and WLAN networks.
• Manage networking projects from design through implementation.
• Troubleshoot complex enterprise network environments.
• Work with routing and switching technologies (BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, IPSec).
• Collaborate with Information Security teams on network security, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
• Utilize network monitoring platforms (e.g., LogicMonitor, Splunk) and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, shell scripting).
• Contribute to network architecture and documentation.

Daily Responsibilities:

• 80% Hands-on technical work
• 5% Management duties
• 15% Team collaboration

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a Senior Network Engineering role supporting globally distributed environments.
• Hands-on experience working within a Network Operations Center (NOC).
• Active CCNP, JNCIP-Junos, or equivalent networking certification.
• Expertise with BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, and IPSec.
• High School Diploma/AAS with relevant experience or Bachelor's degree with relevant experience.

Desired Skills

• Experience with network monitoring platforms such as LogicMonitor or Splunk.
• Experience with network automation tools including Ansible, Puppet, or shell scripting.
• Knowledge of enterprise network architecture and data center connectivity.
• Firewall engineering experience.
• SD-WAN design and administration experience.
