About the role
HII’s Mission Technologies division is dedicated to delivering cutting-edge solutions that advance national security and defense objectives. This position is part of our Cyber and Intelligence division, which plays a critical role in supporting Enterprise-Level Security and Modernization efforts across IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, physical facilities, and personnel operations.
This program launched in early 2026 and due to the classified nature of the mission and the sensitivity of the operational environment, an active TS/SCI security clearance will be required.
Responsibilities
- Designing, deploying, and optimizing Enterprise and data center network environments
- Translating requirements into network solutions, modifications, and support upgrades (network reconfigurations, hardware and software acquisitions, installation, testing)
- Supports the planning, development, and integration, and transition to O&M
- Developing and maintaining documentation of network systems, subsystems, and components in the networking portfolio (i.e., as-built documentation, capacity planning, etc.)
- Exploring, researching, investigating, analyzing, and assessing new technologies to modernize and improve on existing network solutions
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on experience administering or engineering Enterprise networks
- Demonstrated experience leading the employment of network engineering techniques, methodologies, processes, and practices to design, engineer, implement, test, secure, and deliver a variety of enterprise-grade IT networking solutions
- Experience with secure Enterprise information systems, circuits, configurations, and protocols and associated security appliances (encryptors, firewalls, etc.)
- Experience with network traffic flow analysis, network management, network topologies, network security, performance, high availability, load balancing, and fault tolerant architectures
- Conducting advanced troubleshooting to quickly identify and resolve degraded entities while maintaining a secure posture
Qualifications
- Must meet DoD 8140/CSWF for 652-Intermedediate or be willing to obtain the appropriate credential within 6 months
- TS/SCI clearance required with ability to obtain a CI Poly

- Engineer Network 3: $102,160 - $155,000
- Engineer Network 4: $119,000 - $169,413
