About the role
Leidos is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join our elite team supporting mission-critical national security programs. This role involves working at the forefront of cybersecurity, network engineering, and advanced analytics, helping defend and enable some of the nation’s most vital operations.
Responsibilities
- Leading advanced network troubleshooting and problem resolution
- Analyzing and optimizing network performance, latency, and throughput
- Designing and implementing scalable, secure network architectures
- Working with technologies such as: Routing protocols & BGP, Policy-based routing & traffic shaping, IPSec tunneling & NAT, Firewalls, load balancing, and WAN optimization
- Evaluating and integrating emerging networking technologies
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver mission-driven solutions
- Mentoring junior engineers (Levels 0–2) and ensuring engineering excellence
Requirements
- 12–15 years of network engineering experience (or equivalent expertise)
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (or 5 additional years of experience in lieu of degree)
- Strong experience in network design, optimization, and security
- CCNA and CCNP certifications required
- Proven ability to lead technical efforts and mentor teams
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph

- Security Clearance Requirement: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph (required)

Pay
Pay Range: $116,350.00 - $210,325.00
