Senior Network Engineer
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer responsible for configuration, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of a critical operational network. This role provides an engineering resource to support data communications and related applications requirements, administrative support of installed systems/networks, and planning and implementing the necessary hardware, software, and telecommunications equipment to maintain and enhance the organization’s networks.
Evaluates vendor products and recommends purchases. Recommends and implements network policies and procedures and ensures adherence to security procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist in installations, configurations, upgrades, and maintenance of network equipment (switches, firewalls, and load balancers)
- Monitor network performance and troubleshooting
- Document network configurations and diagrams
- Provide technical support to system operators
- Assist in implementing STIG compliance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in computer science or information technology, 10+ years of experience
- Master’s in computer science or information technology, 5+ years of experience
- Must currently possess a TS/SCI with CI polygraph

Pay
The anticipated salary range for this position is $180,000 to $225,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, the scope of the position, relevant experience, education, certifications, internal equity, customer contractual requirements, security clearance requirements, and other legitimate business considerations.
