About the Role
ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Network Computer Systems Administrator to join our team supporting NSWC Corona Range Systems Department in managing Information Technology efforts for the Navy Enterprise Tactical Training Network (NETTN). This position is based at a government facility in Oceana, VA.
Responsibilities
- Establish system information requirements through analysis of information engineers in developing enterprise-wide or large-scale information systems.
- Design architecture, including software, hardware, and communications, to support total requirements and future cross-functional needs and interfaces.
- Ensure systems comply with open systems architectures, OSI, ISO reference models, and standards such as IEEE Open Systems Environment (OSE) for Information Management (IM) solutions.
- Ensure the common operating environment is TAFIM compliant.
- Evaluate and address problems related to management, planning, organization, and processes, developing corrective actions as needed.
- Formulate and define system scope and objectives for assigned projects.
- Handle program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
- Apply full technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (4 years of experience can substitute for a degree).
- Nine (9) years of information technology experience.
- Two (2) years of managerial experience with DoD efforts.
- Current/active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret (TS).
Preferred Qualifications
- Master of Science Degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- Familiarity with the United States Navy.
- Experience with NSWC Corona RS Division and NCTE.
Physical Requirements
- 10% travel anticipated.
- Movement between ManTech and government sites for client meetings and support functions.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Occasional movement within the office to access files, communicate with colleagues, or deliver presentations via email, phone, or virtual communication.
