Senior Network Automation Engineer / Network Automation Architect( Network / System Engineer III

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and network solutions industry, is seeking a Senior Network Automation Engineer to join their dynamic team in Chandler, AZ. You will be an integral part of the Network Engineering Department supporting innovative automation and network solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline network configuration, monitoring, and management processes.
• Design, implement, and support CI/CD pipelines for deployment automation across development, QA, staging, and production environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate network requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Lead code reviews, provide mentorship, and contribute to architectural discussions related to network automation and infrastructure.
• Create comprehensive technical documentation for systems, processes, and configurations to ensure knowledge sharing and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of proven experience in network architecture or senior-level network engineering roles.
• Extensive experience with network automation tools and practices, including Python, shell scripting, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong proficiency in network protocols and standards such as TCP/IP, BGP, VLANs, and VRFs.
• Familiarity with software-defined networking (SDN), infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, and network automation platforms such as Ansible.

Pay

Competitive target pay rate of $70.24 per hour.
