Responsibilities
- Develop and support enterprise network and security architectures within DoD hybrid environments.
- Implement and configure network segmentation and micro segmentation solutions, including SDN, container networking, and virtualization platforms.
- Review low-level topology diagrams to understand current investments and technology landscapes, identify potential technology replacements, and develop strategic “To-Be” architectures integrating existing investments with TD’s Zero Trust capabilities.
- Document complex network and security architectures, procedures, and troubleshooting workflows, including ZTNA implementations.
- Support defense programs, standards, or mission requirements directly or indirectly, including Zero Trust initiatives.
- Support and operate DoD networks, ensuring compliance with security standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, optimizing network performance and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and upgrade multivendor network and security platforms.
- Support the integration of emerging technologies to enhance network security and efficiency.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience designing, deploying, and supporting network and security architectures within DoD hybrid environments, including implementing Zero Trust principles.
- Proven hands-on experience with low-level networking, including understanding detailed topology diagrams and current technology investments.
- Experience in designing, architecting, and implementing Zero Trust policies and solutions, especially within DoD IL5/IL6 environments.
- Ability to analyze existing technical landscapes, identify opportunities for technology replacements, and develop comprehensive “To-Be” architectures that incorporate existing investments and Zero Trust capabilities.
- Knowledge of DoD security standards and compliance requirements in a ZTNA context.
- Knowledge of Identity and Access Management principles and technologies for Zero Trust, including MFA, PAM, and ABAC.
- Experience working with secret classified networks and understanding their unique security challenges.
