Senior .Net SQL Developer/ Support engineer

About the role

A Senior .NET SQL Developer/Support Engineer is needed to join our dynamic team. This position will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting complex database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server and .NET technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance SQL Server databases and related applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions
• Perform database performance tuning and optimization
• Develop and maintain robust error handling and logging mechanisms
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing systems
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall quality of the codebase

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 5+ years of professional experience as a .NET SQL Developer/Support Engineer
• Proficiency in SQL Server 2016/2019, including T-SQL, stored procedures, and triggers
• Experience with Entity Framework and LINQ
• Strong understanding of relational database design and normalization
• Experience with .NET Core/C# and ASP.NET MVC
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders

Qualifications

• Experience with Azure SQL Database and Azure DevOps is a plus
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra) is a plus
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines is a plus
