Roles/Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, implement, and deploy enterprise applications following SDLC and quality standards.
- Strong hands-on experience in C#, .NET Framework 4.5+, T-SQL.
- Proven development experience with .NET Core, REST APIs, Entity Framework, JavaScript.
- Solid UI development experience using Angular 7+, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap.
- Experience collaborating with clients and stakeholders to analyze requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Strong understanding of design patterns, object-oriented principles, and enterprise-wide solutioning.
- Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodology, with ability to lead Scrum ceremonies.
- Experience with cloud-based development, preferably Microsoft Azure.
- Proficient in code management, version control, unit/integration testing, and technical documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of six years in a structured environment working on systems, applications, programming, development, testing, implementation, and deployment.
- At least 6 years of in-depth knowledge and experience in: C#, .NET Framework 4.5+, T-SQL.
- At least 3 years of development experience in: .NET Core, JavaScript, REST API, Entity Framework.
- Preferred UI development experience with Angular 7+, bootstrap, CSS 3+, HTML 4+, TypeScript.
- Software development lifecycle using structured processes.
- Experience with cloud development (Azure preferred).
- Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program eligibility.
- Competent with tool use to manage the following functions: code management, unit testing, integration testing, version control, and prototyping.
- Mortgage origination industry experience highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required.
- Able to think in terms "enterprise wide" solutions.
Pay
The annual salary for this position is between $68,422- $114,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
