Senior Native Application Engineer

For our client, a leader in the Media space, we are seeking a Senior Native Application Engineer to join their team. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery, collaborating across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality native iOS and Android applications
• Contribute to cross-platform TV applications like Apple TV and Roku
• Define API contracts to enhance native UI experiences with BFF engineers
• Utilize AI-assisted tools to boost productivity and advocate for their use
• Drive architectural and design decisions for a consistent native app experience
• Collaborate with product and design teams to turn business goals into technical plans
• Identify and resolve any technical debt affecting performance and stability

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in mobile app development for iOS and Android
• Strong proficiency in Swift and Kotlin with a proven track record of shipping apps
• Deep understanding of mobile development patterns and architecture
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot
• Familiarity with API design and integration, specifically RESTful APIs
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines for mobile development
• Excellent communication skills and team collaboration

Pay

$100,000 – $140,000 annually
