Senior Music Transcriber — MIDI & Notation (Generative Music) (Train AI Models Part Time!)

Responsibilities

• Transcribe full mixes (or provided stems) into accurate multi-track MIDI
• Capture pitch, onset, duration, velocity, harmony/key, modulations, and polyphony
• Follow a consistent MIDI spec (quantization, tempo map, drum mapping, pitch bends)

Requirements

• Have professional transcription / notation experience (session work, arranging, engraving, or equivalent)
• Be fluent in a DAW or notation tool (Logic, Cubase, Reaper, Pro Tools, Sibelius, MuseScore, etc.)
• Can transcribe polyphonic, multi-instrument material accurately by ear
• Have strong music theory (harmony, voice leading) and rhythmic precision
