Responsibilities Develop, enhance, and validate thermal and electrochemical models to support battery system design and performance assessmentApply MATLAB for model development, simulation, and analysisSupport modeling activities related to multi‑physics interactions within NiZn, Lead‑Acid, and Lithium battery systemsAssist with developing complex thermal and electrochemical models Qualifications Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related scientific discipline and five (5) years of experienceExperience with thermal modelingProficiency in MATLABStrong analytical and problem‑solving skillsAbility to work effectively in a team‑based, technical environmentMust be able to obtain a Secret security clearance; can start once interim clearance is granted. SAIC will sponsor the clearance process Preferred Qualifications Experience in electrical and chemical modelingFamiliarity with ANSYS thermal modeling tools
