Senior Model-Based Systems Engineer with Security Clearance

About the role

The Scientific Analysis Operation (SAO) is seeking an experienced Model-Based Systems Engineer to support customers at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC). Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) is a rapidly growing field in the Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Communities. As a member of the engineering team, you will work alongside engineers and software developers to develop authoritative engineering models that contribute to national defense. Radiance Technologies is an employee-owned company with locations in Huntsville, AL and Dayton, OH.

Required Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Engineering field or related certifications such as OCSMP Certifications, INCOSE CSEP, or Project Management PMP (among others)
• Strong knowledge of SysML for modeling architectures and system behaviors
• Proficiency with MBSE methodologies and tools (e.g., Cameo Systems Modeler, MagicDraw, IBM Rhapsody, Enterprise Architect)
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain models, artifacts, and integrated datasets for complex systems and systems of systems
• Ability to analyze architecture and engineering data to solve complex problems, recommend solutions, and improve products and processes
• Experience with DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF), Unified Architecture Framework (UAF), or other architecture frameworks
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment, including internal staff, external contractors, and government customers
• Knowledge of SysML 2.0
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce and present technical documentation and artifacts
• Active secret security clearance

Required Experience

Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience

Desired Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages, including Java, C++, or Python
• Knowledge of aerospace/defense systems and processes
• Knowledge of modeling and simulation (M&S) tools and practices
