Senior Model Based Systems Engineer/Analyst

About the role

As a Senior Model Based Systems Engineer/Analyst, you will provide senior level oversight and support to multiple Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) projects. You will lead development teams responsible for using MBSE tools and techniques to support requirements development, system design, and the development of use cases for selected systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead development teams responsible for using MBSE tools and techniques to support requirements development, system design, and the development of use cases for selected systems.
• Develop, maintain, and assess models using modeling languages such as Systems Modeling Language (SysML) and Unified Architecture Framework (UAF).
• Develop system models and creates representations using data architectures and data models to facilitate interoperability.
• Implement and manage system architectures in the MBSE environment.
• Support the development of system integration plans, procedures and scenarios used in the conduct of software and hardware system integration testing and performs analysis of integration results to assess system impacts.
• Participate in project/program technical risk analysis and mitigation.
• Analyze and evaluate systems using MBSE artifacts.
• Utilize strong written, communication, and presentation skills, and works effectively in a team environment.
• Participate in the development of trade studies to support the selection preferred design solutions and course of action alternatives in project development/product delivery.
• Review system engineering documentation to ensure specifications meet system needs and are accurate.
• Participate in system requirements reviews and creates/updates requirements specifications and technical documentation.

Requirements

• ABET accredited engineering degree or BS in technical field
• 9 years related experience
• Experience with various model based system engineering tools - Rhapsody, Cameo Magic Draw, Rhapsody
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
