About the role
We are seeking a Mobile Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in mobile test automation, Java, Appium, and mobile performance monitoring and a proven ability to design, build, and scale automation frameworks that improve quality and delivery speed across iOS and Android.
Responsibilities
- Adopt innovative approaches to uncover defects early in the development cycle.
- Design and implement new testing frameworks for upcoming products and features.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to standards, procedures, tools, and quality improvements.
- Maintain automated regression suites to align with evolving requirements and features.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Proficiency in Java for building UI test automation and framework enhancements with Appium.
- Strong Shell scripting skills.
- Mobile test automation expertise with Appium.
- Experience with Selenium and TestNG.
- 5+ years as an SDET and Manual QA.
- Hands-on experience with at least one mobile automation framework such as Appium, Espresso, or XCUITest.
- Proven ability to design and build automation frameworks from scratch or with open-source tools.
- Experience with CI/CD and source control tools such as Jenkins, Perforce, Git, and Bitbucket.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Perfecto for mobile automation, performance, and monitoring.
- Experience with unit test integration in continuous integration pipelines.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, team-based environment with strong troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
Schedule
- Hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite in Charlotte, NC.
- Start month: August.
- In-person interview required; Glider ID verification will be conducted.
Pay
$65.05/hr (W2)
