Senior ML Engineer - Embodied AI Scaling Foundations

For our client, we are seeking a Senior ML Engineer - Embodied AI Scaling Foundations to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space. This role will focus on building the machine learning foundations that support advanced autonomous systems and safe AI capabilities at scale. You will help drive applied research into production-ready solutions, partnering closely with engineering teams to turn prototypes into robust onboard system integrations. The work will combine model development, infrastructure design, and technical execution in a fast-moving environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $159,300 – $230,700 annually Responsibilities Design and implement ML solutions that support autonomous driving goals Apply ML techniques for safe AI and object detection Collaborate with teams to integrate models into onboard systems Contribute to applied research while staying current on ML advancements Design and build infrastructure for efficient model iterations Drive technical execution from prototype to production Mentor engineers through technical collaboration and code reviews Qualifications Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Machine Learning, or a related field Experience with large-scale foundation models and alignment methods Ability to deliver applied ML solutions under real-world constraints Proficiency in PyTorch and Python Experience building and scaling model training pipelines Strong data processing skills using NumPy, Pandas, and Apache Spark Strong communication skills for collaboration across engineering teams Experience deploying ML models into production environments, preferably in robotics or autonomous driving systems Benefits Variety of health and wellbeing programs including medical, dental, and vision Retirement savings plan and life insurance Paid vacation and holidays Tuition assistance programs Vehicle discounts Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
