Overview
As part of our Azure Tribe, you will take on joint responsibility for the BTC Security offering within the Microsoft Services & Solutions business area, focusing on critical and regulated organizations.
Responsibilities
- Advising key stakeholders at the C-level as a Management Consultant: Analyzing security strategies, testing risk and compliance requirements, and developing jointly actionable Microsoft Cloud Security architectures from structured gap analysis to implementable security roadmaps.
- Strategically thinking beyond individual projects: Identifying strategic follow-on opportunities from existing initiatives, leading to meaningful next steps, and connecting customer needs with the team's relevant technical competencies.
- Monitoring regulatory developments and threat landscapes, creating showcases, and bringing go-to-market ideas forward—collaborating with marketing and business area.
- Participating in offer and negotiation processes, structuring complex projects content-wise, and bringing your technical perspective; familiar with the sales process and executing it confidently.
- Actively positioning yourself technically both internally and externally: Through community work, events, technical talks, or digital channels, you position yourself as an expert in the Microsoft Security community and share your knowledge.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of practical experience as a Cloud or Security Architect or Consultant in the Microsoft Cloud Security context, ideally with technologies like Microsoft Sentinel, Defender XDR, or Entra ID, and a clear understanding of implementation.
- A non-traditional salesperson but rather a consulting-oriented personality with a deep technical background that can analyze customer problems and convert them into actionable solutions.
- Understanding of relevant regulatory requirements and norms such as NIS2, ISO 27001, or ISO 27017—understanding what critical and near-critical organizations are concerned about and speaking their language.
- Ability to operate at management level and develop concrete engagements from strategic conversations.
- Experience in offering creation and pricing in the security field—knowing how to structure a complex deal.
- A passion for external engagement: Experience or genuine enthusiasm for being visible through LinkedIn, events, or content creation—having a feel for go-to-market ideas is a plus.
- Travel readiness for customer meetings and internal formats within Germany.
Qualifications
Good German proficiency at Level B2.

Pay and Schedule
