Senior Microsoft 365 Infrastructure Engineer

About the Role

We're looking for a senior Microsoft 365 engineer who has experience supporting complex enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have broad Microsoft 365 administration experience and be comfortable serving as a Tier 3 escalation point while driving automation, governance, and platform improvements. The IT team is responsible for building and supporting a large enterprise Microsoft 365 environment focused on collaboration, security, automation, governance, and modernization across multiple business units.

• Defender for Microsoft 365
• Microsoft Graph / Graph API
• PowerShell automation
• Power Platform integrations
• Exchange Online (secondary responsibility)
• Hybrid Exchange exposure
• Multi-tenant Microsoft 365 administration
• Cross-tenant collaboration (B2B)
• Tenant-to-tenant migrations
• Conditional Access, MFA, OAuth, SAML, and enterprise application integrations
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
• Experience creating technical documentation and SOPs

• Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert (MS-102)
• Identity and Access Administrator (SC-300)
• Azure Administrator (AZ-104)
• Security Operations Analyst (SC-200)
• Endpoint Administrator (MD-102)
• MS-700 Teams Administrator or other Microsoft security/compliance certifications

Responsibilities

• Tier 3 Microsoft 365 support
• Administration of Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Entra ID, Purview, Defender, Copilot, and Viva
• Support multi-tenant Microsoft 365 environments
• Troubleshoot cross-tenant collaboration and identity issues
• Support tenant-to-tenant migrations and coexistence
• Automate administration using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph
• Improve platform governance, security, compliance, and operational stability
• Partner with Infrastructure, Security, Operations, and Application teams on enterprise initiatives
