Senior Merchandiser

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00/hour (depending on experience). Car allowance, mileage reimbursement, and cell phone allowance provided.

About the role

As a Sales Service Representative, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our strategic sales initiatives in your assigned sales region, collaborating closely with the Sales Representatives in that area. Your responsibilities will encompass tasks focused on executing our company programs and initiatives, ensuring compliance with company policies, and providing merchandising and sales support. You will also build strong relationships with new and existing customers in the sales region, supporting Sales Representatives in addressing their needs and concerns. Your professionalism and business execution are critical contributions to driving business forward for our customers, vendors, and ourselves.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a detailed and specific call routine with a designated ledger of customers.
• Maintain and execute company programs and initiatives (racks, plan-o-grams, ordering, and merchandising activities).
• Attend to customer needs and concerns promptly via phone and/or email.
• Find solutions to possible customer challenges with assistance.
• Identify and reduce out-of-stocks on shelves.
• Ensure products are fresh and within date code parameters.
• Ensure plan-o-gram, marketing best practices, and compliance in stores.
• Identify display opportunities and maximize display positioning.
• Ensure that products are properly displayed, priced, and identified.
• Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
• 1+ years of working experience in customer service, merchandising, or retail/foodservice.
• Ability to drive to customer locations using personal transportation (mileage and gasoline reimbursement provided).
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle, and proper valid insurance.
• Exceptionally organized and able to multi-task.
• Ability to travel as needed (minimum travel required).
• Analytical and computer literate.
• Strong communication skills.
