Senior MEP Superintendent - Commercial Construction

About the role

The Senior MEP Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other related systems in commercial construction projects. This individual must ensure that all work adheres to safety standards and project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the installation and maintenance of MEP systems
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and industry standards
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve issues and meet project deadlines
• Manage budgets and resources effectively
• Train and mentor junior staff members

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP construction management
• Knowledge of NEC, ASHRAE, and other relevant codes and standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Experience with project management software

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually
