About the Role
We are seeking a Senior MEP Superintendent to join a leading construction team delivering large-scale mission-critical facilities across Texas. This is a traveling position for a professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and has a proven track record overseeing MEP construction on data center or other mission-critical projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) field operations on hyperscale data center projects.
- Coordinate and oversee MEP subcontractors to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
- Drive field execution, commissioning readiness, and project turnover activities.
- Collaborate with project managers, owners, engineers, and trade partners to resolve construction challenges.
- Monitor project schedules and identify opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications, safety requirements, and industry best practices.
- Manage MEP sequencing and coordinate with all trades to maintain project milestones.
- Support commissioning and startup activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- 7+ years of MEP Superintendent experience on large commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or data center construction projects.
- 5+ years of data center or mission-critical construction experience.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and commissioning processes.
- Experience managing multiple MEP subcontractors on complex projects.
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents, schedules, and technical specifications.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be willing and able to travel and work out of state as project needs dictate.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience delivering hyperscale data center projects.
- Background working with top-tier general contractors, mission-critical builders, or owner's representatives.
- Familiarity with commissioning and startup processes for critical infrastructure.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $170,000 - $185,000
