Senior Member Advisor

Duties & Responsibilities

• Interviews and assists members with applications for memberships, shares, loans, and junior real estate.
• Calculates terms, finance charges, insurance rates, etc. on loans for proper disclosure on promissory notes.
• Gathers all required information to gain loan approval within limits of loan authority.
• Disbursts loans promptly and accurately.
• Closes loan applications in accordance with Credit Union policies and procedures.
• Prepares miscellaneous documents and reports and maintains related records.
• Ensures that services are provided in accordance with established Credit Union policies and are legally compliant.
• Ensures interviews and service requests are properly documented.
• Identifies cross-sell opportunities and cross-sells services to members.
• Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

• A high school diploma
• 1-3 years of relevant experience
• Performance driven sales and service delivery
• Process improvement skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and courteously
• Self-motivated and goal oriented
• Ability to use diplomacy
• Excellent telephone etiquette
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
