Senior Meetings & Events Planner
Location: New York City, NY (One Manhattan West; Onsite)
About the role
The Senior Meetings & Events Planner will join the Workplace team and operate independently to plan and execute meetings & events onsite for Accenture's NY Corporate Office. They will coordinate event delivery across all Workplace departments, communicating with the appropriate stakeholders, and ensuring quality assurance. All office interactions are expected to be conducted with a high degree of hospitality and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates services for meeting and events, such as setup, facilities, communicating catering and AV needs, wayfinding, special needs/assistance requirements, and security
- Works closely with reception, facilities, local technology, and other Workplace departments to ensure quality service leading up to and on event day
- Uses technology to manage the planning processes for meetings and events, including registrations, approvals, budget and actual spend, calendars, logistics, attendee registrations, etc.
- Ensures support for assigned meeting and events and completion of procurement processes like purchase orders, billing and final reconciliation
- Establishes relationships with internal (cross-functional) groups to ensure consistent delivery of service and resolves all escalations related to meetings or events appropriately
- Creates event portfolio to show space set up options and other event options to clients upfront
- Manages relationships and contracts with service providers to deliver value-added services and competitive costs
- Monitors and manages compliance with existing policy and recommends changes to align with changing business needs
- Provides support to communicate policy to Accenture personnel and external suppliers
- Comfortable assisting with any Workplace position and showcasing a willingness to help wherever needed
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of meeting planning experience in a hospitality or professional setting
- Minimum of 2 years planning and executing high-end internal and/or external client/customer-facing events
- Minimum of 2 years in a customer service role

Pay
Compensation varies depending on location, role, skill set, and level of experience. The following salary ranges are provided as required by local law:
- California: $70,350 to $131,300
- Cleveland: $50,800 to $105,000
- Colorado: $57,800 to $113,400
- District of Columbia: $58,400 to $120,800
- Illinois: $50,800 to $113,400
- Maine: $46,700 to $96,600
- Maryland: $54,900 to $113,400
- Massachusetts: $54,900 to $120,800
- Minnesota: $54,900 to $113,400
- New York: $66,300 to $131,300
- New Jersey: $58,400 to $131,300
- Virginia: $50,800 to $120,800
- Washington: $80,200 to $120,800
