About the role

A Senior Medical Writer is needed to join our Medical Communications team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in medical writing, regulatory affairs, and clinical research. They will be responsible for developing and updating medical communications materials, including product labeling, promotional materials, and conference presentations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and update medical communications materials, including product labeling, promotional materials, and conference presentations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including medical, regulatory, and sales departments, to ensure alignment with company goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct literature reviews and analyze scientific data to support the development of medical communications content.
  • Ensure all written materials comply with FDA guidelines and other relevant regulations.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes to provide insights and recommendations to the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., biomedical sciences, public health, or life sciences).
  • At least 5 years of experience in medical writing, regulatory affairs, or clinical research.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and regulatory guidelines.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and compelling content.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of success in medical writing roles.
  • Experience with medical writing software and tools.
  • Knowledge of medical device regulations and familiarity with the medical device industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
