For our client, we are seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison (South) to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This remote role will serve as a key scientific partner across the southern territory, building trusted relationships with healthcare professionals and investigators while advancing medical education and scientific exchange. The position will support clinical development efforts, share insights from the field, and help ensure scientific and business priorities stay aligned in a highly collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong oncology expertise and the ability to translate complex data into meaningful conversations with external experts. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $200,000 – $235,000 annually Responsibilities Develop and execute territory plans for healthcare professional and investigator engagement Support clinical development and research initiatives in partnership with R&D Build and maintain customer-focused relationships with immuno-oncology experts Educate healthcare providers on disease states and therapeutic products Share insights from scientific meetings relevant to the assigned geography Stay current on market trends and therapeutic advancements relevant to the role Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support scientific and business objectives Qualifications Doctoral degree in health sciences (MD, PhD, PharmD) required; industry experience may substitute for education 5+ years of solid tumor oncology experience, particularly in GI, bladder, or renal cell tumors 2+ years of Medical Science Liaison (MSL) experience required Experience in the pharmaceutical industry preferred Strong ability to understand and communicate complex scientific concepts Proven relationship-building skills with healthcare professionals Benefits Health care industry representative (HCIR) credentialing for facility entry requirements Opportunities for professional development and participation in advisory boards Collaborative environment across cross-functional teams Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
