Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain strategic relationships with KOLs and internal stakeholders
- Deliver balanced medical information in response to inquiries in academic and healthcare settings
- Develop and implement territory and KOL engagement plans for effective scientific education
- Report medical insights to enhance the company’s key medical strategies and future research
- Analyze KOL perspectives and execute action plans based on scientific feedback
- Support clinical research initiatives related to Investigator Initiated Trials and collaborate on patient enrollment
- Lead cross-functional medical affairs projects and represent the department at conferences
Qualifications
- Terminal degree (e.g., MD, PhD, PharmD) with 2+ years MSL experience or advanced degree with 5+ years MSL experience in a related field
- Demonstrated expertise in rare diseases preferred
- Proven ability to deliver impactful clinical and scientific presentations in various formats
- Strong understanding of the healthcare delivery system
- Knowledge of FDA regulations regarding product promotion and scientific exchange
- Strategic thinker with knowledge of medical and business practices relevant to the company’s objectives
- Capable of building and leveraging strategic relationships to improve patient care
