Senior Medical Science Liaison - Gastroenterology (AZ/San Diego, CA)

Responsibilities

• Engage with KOLs and HCPs, dedicating at least 80% of time to external activities
• Develop and sustain professional relationships with KOLs/HCPs aligned to medical strategies
• Analyze and translate complex scientific data for KOLs/HCPs in a compliant manner
• Facilitate and support the company-sponsored research and investigator-initiated studies
• Collect and internally communicate medical insights from KOL interactions to shape medical strategies
• Identify partnership opportunities with KOLs/HCPs and the company US Medical
• Participate in medical strategies at conferences and document customer activity meticulously

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in life/health sciences preferred; Master's degree in health sciences minimum requirement
• Minimum 2 years experience as a field-based medical science liaison (MSL) in the pharmaceutical industry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
• Strong organization and collaboration abilities are essential
• Knowledge of relevant therapeutic areas and experience in clinical, research, and/or teaching environments
