About the role
This role will turn data into practical insight that improves visibility, decision-making, and business performance. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a life sciences environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical support to cross-functional teams for research discussions
- Engage KOLs in oncology for collaborative research opportunities
- Seek opportunities for the company assays in impactful external research
- Identify clinical unmet needs in cancer types relevant to the company assays
- Evaluate study proposals for scientific and strategic merit
- Act as a research liaison between internal data scientists and external investigators
- Support medical writing for research abstracts and publications
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison or in Medical Affairs within diagnostics, biotech, or pharmaceuticals
- Ability to manage multiple study collaborations effectively
- Strong communication and liaison skills with KOLs and academic researchers
- Existing relationships with oncology KOLs are preferred
- Public speaking skills to convey complex scientific information clearly
- Working knowledge of clinical trial design and statistical methods preferred
- Knowledge of genomic laboratory-developed testing and related regulatory guidelines
