About the role
The Senior Medical Science Liaison identifies, develops, maintains, and leverages collaborative relationships with current and future Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in therapeutic areas of interest to ADMA Biologics, as well as key members of Pharmacy and Therapeutics (P&T) Committees and Healthcare Organizations (HCOs) in the private and public sectors. This role serves as the expert in presenting, training, and educating stakeholders on the use of ADMA’s products, contributes medical perspective to product development and brand planning, and supports the clinical research group in managing clinical trials and scientific publications.
Responsibilities
- Leads efforts in recognizing, identifying, cultivating, and integrating KOL relationships in therapeutic areas relevant to ADMA.
- Identifies opportunities for scientific growth and medical evidence to support and expand current therapies, including execution of initiatives such as research and continuing medical education (CME).
- Maintains deep medical-scientific knowledge in assigned therapeutic area(s) and disease state(s) related to ADMA’s products, interpreting and conveying pertinent scientific data.
- Provides current clinical and research-related information on diseases targeted by ADMA’s products, including competitive pipeline insights and data on efficacy, safety, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacoeconomics.
- Works to secure acceptance and favorable product positioning on drug lists and formularies.
- Assists in identifying potential investigators and sites for clinical trials, managing IIR study activity, and contributing to publication opportunities.
- Provides scientific, medical, and clinical expertise to internal departments, including updates to standard response letters for Medical Information Requests.
- Supports sales and marketing in competitive surveillance of disease states and products in ADMA’s commercial and pipeline areas.
- Actively participates in creating and managing ADMA Advisory Boards and Key Opinion Leader Programs.
Requirements
- Doctoral-level degree in life sciences (PharmD, MD, DO, PhD, Nursing, or equivalent).
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in immunology, pulmonology/respiratory, or infectious disease.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Doctoral-level degree (MD, DO, PharmD) with training or clinical experience in immunology, pulmonology/respiratory, or infectious disease.
- More than 5 years of related MSL experience.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in immunology, respiratory, and/or infectious disease.
- Previous experience with product launches and life cycle management in relevant disease areas.
Compliance

- Completion of required compliance training, accurate documentation of interactions, and adherence to data privacy regulations.
- Proactive participation in compliance reviews and prompt reporting of potential issues.
