Senior Medical Director, Oncology

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Medical Director, Oncology to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will guide medical strategy across breast cancer programs, supporting development from launch through lifecycle management. You will partner closely with development, commercial, and review committee stakeholders to shape evidence generation, publications, labeling, and brand planning. The position also plays a key role in identifying opportunities to improve oncology care delivery through the company's portfolio. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $268,000 – $402,000 annually Responsibilities Provide medical insights to influence breast cancer research, development, and execution Align with the development organization on evidence interpretation and publication strategy Support label development and negotiations for product indications Manage medical strategy for breast cancer from launch through lifecycle management Collaborate with Commercial teams to create brand plans Lead Medical and Promotional Review committee processes Identify opportunities to enhance oncology care delivery using the company's assets Qualifications 10+ years of Medical Affairs or related experience required Experience in oncology care delivery preferred Strong background in breast cancer indications and lifecycle management desired Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Proven ability to influence without direct authority Success in matrix organizations with strong initiative and execution skills Self-awareness and emotional intelligence in complex environments Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement savings plan Flexible paid vacation policy Potential annual cash bonus or incentive compensation Discretionary equity grants based on performance Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
