About the role

In this position, you will be responsible for the pickup, transport, and delivery of medical specimens, lab supplies, and reports while providing excellent service to our clients. A company vehicle is provided for the route, with the option to take it home for personal use for $125 per month.

Schedule

The schedule for this position varies, typically Monday–Friday, 11:30 AM–8:00 PM. Must be flexible to cover shifts starting as early as 8:00 AM or ending as late as 4:00 AM, including rotating weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a floater for the logistics team, providing coverage for various routes as needed
  • Provide on-route training for new couriers/drivers
  • Assist with dispatch and pickups when needed
  • Load all necessary supplies for daily pickups
  • Complete daily pickup schedule in a timely manner
  • Deliver all daily pickups to your branch at the end of your shift
  • Handle all specimens and lab samples safely and efficiently
  • Safely operate a company vehicle and obey all traffic laws
  • Utilize a handheld electronic device to manage daily pickups
  • Work directly with dispatchers for additional pickups as needed
  • Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes, and weather conditions

Requirements

  • 3+ years of driver or courier experience
  • Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and meet physical demands of the position
  • Strong punctuality, time management, and attention to detail
  • Problem-solving skills for customer issues

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • 2+ years of customer service experience
