Senior Medical Analyst / Medical Strategic Planner V

Responsibilities

• Analyze Army and DoD medical logistics policies, guidance, and strategic plans.
• Assess impacts of operational plans, contingency plans, and theater support plans on medical readiness.
• Develop executive briefings, white papers, information papers, and strategic recommendations for senior Army leadership.
• Review medical prepositioned stock requirements and readiness initiatives.
• Conduct analysis using Defense Medical Logistics systems and reporting tools.
• Cook up coordination with AMC, MEDCOM, USAMMA, AMLC, DHA, and Army Service Component Commands.
• Provide recommendations to improve medical logistics readiness, accountability, and supply chain performance.
• Support Army-wide medical sustainment planning efforts.

Qualifications

• Necessary Skills and Knowledge: Knowledge of Medical Health System transformation initiatives. Strong executive-level briefing and communication skills.
• Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Healthcare Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Minimum 15 years of Army medical logistics experience. Minimum 5 years supporting an Army Service Component Command, Major Command, or equivalent headquarters organization. Experience as a 70A, 70H, 70K, or 68J. Experience with DMLSS, DCAM, GCSS-Army, AESIP, and TWELS.
• Preferred Qualifications: Former MEDCOM, USAMMA, AMLC, DHA, or AMC medical logistics leader. Experience supporting General Officer-level decision-making.
