Senior Mechanical Project Engineer - APAC
Join SharkNinja's NPD team and turn ideas that don't exist yet into products people love.
We're looking for a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer who thrives on hard problems, gets energy from building things with their hands, and wants to see their work on shelves, in homes, and in stores within a year or two of dreaming it up.
You'll own the design and development of consumer products from first sketch through launch and beyond, working shoulder-to-shoulder with engineering and product teams to figure out how systems perform and where the real tradeoffs are.
You'll pull in people from other disciplines to brainstorm, build rough prototypes, and stress-test them until you know exactly what works.
You'll mentor and guide a team of engineers, co-ops, and interns, helping them grow while you push the team's collective bar higher.
And you'll get the payoff most engineers never do: watching something you built go from a CAD file to an infomercial to someone's kitchen counter.
What You'll Bring
BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering
5+ years of experience designing and developing physical products
Experience coordinating engineering activities across teams including reviewing design documents, product validation results and more
Demonstrated ability to bring enabling technologies into products that actually ship
Proficient in SolidWorks or Creo
Comfortable in a lab setting, running controlled experiments on your own prototypes
Skilled with hands-on prototyping: 3D printing, machining, hand tools, building robust assemblies
Strong with Excel, Minitab, or MATLAB (or similar) to turn test data into real insight
Clear communicator, able to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical colleagues
Organized, methodical, and relentless about catching problems before they become expensive
Enjoys building genuine working relationships with colleagues
Nice to Haves
Experience building and executing test plans that directly shaped design decisions
Comfortable juggling shifting priorities without losing the thread on long-term goals
Background at a consumer products company or consulting firm
Familiarity with electronics (analog/digital) and components common in small appliances — sensors, motors, heaters, PCBAs — plus related test equipment

The annual salary range for this position is $85,000—$161,000 USD.
