Position Summary

The Mechanical Engineer for Mission Critical Projects is responsible for the design, coordination, and implementation of mechanical systems for high-performance, technically complex facilities such as data centers, laboratories, clean rooms, and critical infrastructure environments. This role involves collaborating closely with multi-disciplinary teams to develop innovative, efficient, and scalable HVAC and cooling solutions that meet strict reliability and redundancy requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience in a MEP or integrated design firm working on commercial/public projects, including the design of HVAC, plumbing and fire protection building systems on complex projects.
  • 5+ years of experience of design experience related to data centers.
  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer designing HVAC, plumbing and fire protection building systems on complex projects.
  • Working knowledge of the design and construction process and the ability to understand and communicate with professionals of other disciplines.
  • Experience with BIM (e.g. Autodesk Revit MEP) work flow.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Licensed Professional Engineer.
  • LEED Accredited Professional and previous experience participating in the LEED or other green rating system process.
  • Experience and interest in sustainable building design.

Pay Range

The suggested pay range for this position is: $84,700 - $144,430 USD.
