Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the Engineer of Record for assigned projects.
- Lead and supervise engineering staff, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
- Conduct periodic employee performance evaluations.
- Aid the Technical Manager and Chief Engineer with technical training and staff development.
- Cookordination and assignment of engineering and system design projects.
- Establish design standards, specifications, and project criteria.
- Lead project coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage construction administration activities, including RFIs, field reports, bulletins, and addenda.
- Prepare project proposals and administer client contracts.
- Cookordinate with the accounting team on monthly project invoicing and monitor accounts receivable.
- Monitor project communications between staff, clients, contractors, and project owners.
- Oversee the preparation of engineering analyses, reports, and system evaluations.
- Contribute to company-wide technical committees and engineering initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in an MEP consulting engineering environment.
- At least 3 years of supervisory or engineering management experience.
- Strong hands-on mechanical design experience.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
- Experience designing healthcare facilities is required.
- Experience with Critical Facilities/Data Centers and large-scale projects is required.
- Experience with commercial and aviation projects is highly preferred.
