Responsibilities
- Designs and analyzes complex electro-mechanical components and systems.
- Conducts studies and testing on new and modified designs.
- Directs others in the development of design information for use in drawings and specifications.
- Serves as leader for small technical teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering; advanced degree a plus.
- 10 years work experience dealing with manufacture and design of engineered products.
- Experience with rotating equipment and machine designs (motors, pumps, generators and propulsors).
- Finite Element Analysis, Computational Fluid Dynamics, GD&T, CAD systems, CAE systems.
- Ability to perform analysis and studies with strong attention to details in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to create models and drawings and perform trade studies and design reviews.
- Capable of coordinating multiple project responsibilities.
- Must be a team player and have knowledge of MS Office Suite.
Qualifications
- Due to DoD requirements, candidates must be US citizens.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance.
