Senior MBIST Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior MBIST Engineer to support SoC DFT development. The role focuses on end-to-end MBIST implementation, verification, simulation, pattern generation, diagnostics, and silicon bring-up using Synopsys tools.

Key Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on DFT/MBIST experience
• Strong experience with Synopsys SMS5/SMS6, VCS, and VecGen
• Knowledge of MBIST insertion, integration, verification, and diagnostics
• Experience with BIRA/BISR, memory repair, and March algorithms
• Strong Verilog/SystemVerilog skills
• Experience with no-delay and with-delay simulations
• Strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills
• Scripting knowledge in Tcl, Perl, or Python preferred
• Ability to work independently on complex SoC designs

Responsibilities

• Perform MBIST insertion and top-level integration
• Develop and debug MBIST simulations using Synopsys VCS
• Generate and validate MBIST patterns using VecGen
• Debug RTL, simulation, and MBIST integration issues
• Support silicon bring-up and post-silicon debug
• Analyze memory failures and perform root-cause analysis
• Collaborate with DFT, RTL, Physical Design, and Product Engineering teams
• Document MBIST implementation flows and debug findings

Work Arrangement: Remote – PST hours

Rate: $80–$85/hr
