About the role

Prepare, develop and coordinate the integrated master plan and integrated master schedule to meet all program objectives. Ensure major projects and program schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated across company functional groups including but not limited to finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality. Monitor program schedule performance, track plans and schedules, perform risk analysis, identify and resolve critical path and network logic conflicts. Utilize Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas.

Responsibilities

  • Update and prepare reports for internal stakeholders, leadership and external customers.
  • Develop an Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) that guide program execution and serve as the basis for Earned Value performance.
  • Lead the planning, establishment and maintenance of the Performance Measurement Baseline; including support of an Integrated Baseline Review (IBR).
  • Understand trends using effective schedule metrics, suggest corrective actions in a timely manner and support implementation.
  • Proactively engage in program execution and risk management.
  • Participate in the Risk Management process with the ability to perform Schedule Risk Assessments (SRA) and provide analysis of the results to the program team.
  • Review, recommend and implement, as appropriate, schedule work-around or recovery plans in a proactive manner.
  • Routinely assist program management by monitoring SPI/CPI and BEI/CEI performance and preparing schedule status reports for customer and/or business management reviews.

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Operations, Technical field of study, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or similar applicable discipline; or equivalent experience, and four (4) years of planning/scheduling experience; or a Master’s Degree and three (3) years of related experience.

  • Experience with SSI Tool Set, WBS Pro, Deltek COBRA and Schedule Risk Software.
  • Experience with project forecasting and analysis, particularly in a US Defense environment.
  • Understanding and knowledge with regards to industry Planning and Scheduling Excellence Guide (PASEG).
  • General understanding of US DoD schedule policies and Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) requirements.

Pay

  • Full-Time Salary Range: $90304 - $153517

Schedule

  • This role is intended to be performed in a hybrid / remote format, with the individual splitting their time between our sites in either Wayne, New Jersey or Greenlawn, New York, and remotely from an alternate work location. For the right individual, a full-time remote format may be considered.
