Controls and manages millions of dollars of inventory and shipments by proper scheduling and analyzing of products derived from market forecasts, customer orders, and trend analysis. Inputs requirements into the planning system and develops weekly production needs. This is a hybrid role requiring onsite work at our St. Louis, MO facility 3 days per week, with up to 20% domestic travel and 10% international travel. Visa sponsorship or H1B transfer is not available.
Responsibilities
- Formulates the master production plan that best meets market forecasts, inventory objectives, and customer requirements based on value stream constraints.
- Loads MRP based on the agreed-upon build plan to drive site-level inventory spend.
- Escalates build interruptions for resolution to ensure excellent customer service.
- Schedules sales orders in Oracle to availability, SSQ lead-time, and to best meet customer requirements.
- Works with Customer Sales Support to resolve scheduling issues and with Manufacturing to resolve purchasing and production issues.
- Resolves daily MRP problems, including identifying product structure issues, input errors, and other discrepancies.
- Participates in new product implementation and handles Phase-In/Phase-Out planning to minimize obsolete inventory and ensure smooth product transitions.
- Monitors and reports production schedule planning and manufacturing accuracy.
- Develops and maintains procedures and work instructions to support master planning.
- Constantly evaluates, recommends, and implements improvements in material requirements planning (MRP) to drive down inventory levels.
- Maintains and develops standard work as needed, trains team members, and serves as a point of escalation when required.
- Provides inputs to demand planning on shipment schedules, plans, and forecasts based on capacity (S&OP process).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree plus 5 years of experience in Planning, or High School Diploma/GED plus 13 years of experience in Planning.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Advanced experience with material requirements planning (MRP) and Master Planning.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Oracle.
- Experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment.
- MBA or advanced degree.
- Certification in a related field (APICS).

Pay
$79,687.50 – $98,437.50 per year. This position is eligible for bonus participation. Pay rates are based on factors including local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, and foreign language fluency.
Schedule
- Hybrid role: 3 days per week onsite at the St. Louis, MO facility.
- Up to 20% domestic travel and 10% international travel.
