Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair various refrigerant systems to include; Variable Refrigerant Flow Systems, Chillers, Reversible Chillers, CRAC Units
  • Cut and bend tubing to correct length and shape, using cutting and bending equipment and tools
  • Cut and thread pipe, using machine-threading or hand-threading equipment
  • Joins tubing or pipes to various refrigerating units by means of sleeves, couplings or unions, and solder joints, using torch, forming complete circuit for refrigerant
  • Installs new or repaired components and performs complex modifications of systems and components in accordance with applicable electrical publications and directives
  • Maintains and repairs specialized equipment such as DOAS; MAU and Pool Pak systems
  • Supervise lower level technicians, general maintenance workers and maintenance trade helpers
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent amounts of technical training and experience
  • 15+ years of ADVANCED experience in the advanced maintenance, repair, installation and operation of COMMERCIAL/INDUSTRIAL heating, ventilation, refrigeration and air conditioning systems
  • Experience must include inspection, disassembly, assembly, replacement and repair of heating, ventilation, refrigeration and/or air conditioning systems to include compressors, motors, burners, pumps, filters, ductwork, pipes, valves, refrigerants and their recovery systems and pressure vessels
  • Experience in installing, calibrating, troubleshooting and replacement of control systems is required
  • EPA Universal Refrigeration License
  • Valid driver's license compliant with REAL ID Act or are you willing and able to obtain one
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check

Pay

Total Compensation Package: $81.93 per hour! $66.68/ hr. plus $15.25 fringe benefits used towards insurance and 401k!

Schedule

Regular, dependable attendance OVERTIME- Available evenings & weekends
