Senior Marketing Specialist - AMS&T

Responsibilities

  • Independently lead the development and production of client qualifications, proposals, and presentations with a focus on quality, creativity, and meeting client deadlines.
  • Ability to manage content development and pursuit process directly with business development, operations, and AMS&T leadership.
  • Craft compelling story content about clients, projects, people, and Gilbane and incorporate these differentiators into deliverables that address the unique client needs.
  • Ensure all external content and client deliverables align with Gilbane’s brand standards and messaging guidelines.
  • Active participant in presell meetings and strategic brainstorms.
  • Development of AMS&T marketing, including conferences and tradeshows (in partnership with enterprise marcom team), speaking submissions, marketing collateral and materials, and strategic support for priority projects.
  • Lead the development of internal and external communications, including newsletters, press releases, website content, social media posts, eblasts, and content for other digital channels.
  • Oversee the organization and maintenance of digital assets, ensuring efficient categorization and searchability, while providing guidance and support to entry-level team members.
  • Accountable for data maintenance to ensure data integrity.
  • Conduct research for the AMS&T vertical to understand our clients – who they are, what’s top of mind and key trends.
  • Analyze, interpret, and communicate research with BD partners and leadership as needed.
  • Lead close-out process of sales and marketing deliverables.
  • Develop a strong knowledge of the AEC industry, AMS&T vertical, and Gilbane’s capabilities across each sector, locally and nationally.
  • Strong leadership in building and maintaining a robust operational network to facilitate storytelling and identify value adds about our projects.
  • Visit jobsites regularly to enhance operational partnerships, take photos, and interview project teams for future content opportunities.
  • Ensure content is organized and cataloged for future use.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality external content and client deliverables, ensuring clear communication, mutual support, and a cohesive approach to problem-solving.
  • Mentor and train junior staff.
  • Independently lead multiple deliverables concurrently and has a strong ability to multi-task.
  • Participate in professional or AMS&T organizations and begin to explore opportunities for committee or other leadership opportunities.
  • Stay abreast of new marcom trends and tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 5-7 years relevant experience in the marketing and/or AEC industry
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Technical Skills: Advanced skills in Adobe Create Suite, Power Point, Unanet, AI technology tools, and Photography
  • Professional Development: Excellent time management, organization, and communication skills; excels in working independently and collaboratively in a team; advanced writing and critical thinking skills; strong at process management
  • Business Acumen: Mastery of Gilbane services and advanced knowledge of construction management and industry awareness as a whole

Pay and Benefits

Salary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team. The pay ranges from $94,900.00-$139,900.00 plus benefits and retirement program. Gilbane offers an excellent total compensation package which includes competitive health and welfare benefits and a generous profit-sharing/401k plan.
