At Microsoft, our mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. This mission comes to life through the devices people use every day, represented in our Surface and Xbox products. Our Microsoft Devices Operations (MDO) organization leverages engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to produce, deliver, and service hardware at scale. We are hiring a Senior Manufacturing Product Engineer to help deliver on MDO’s strategy to “Make it. Ship it. Love it.” This role exists at the intersection of product design and factory execution, leveraging product knowledge, robust engineering methods, and a continual improvement mindset to deliver on operational objectives of cost, quality, and scale.

About the role

People who thrive in this role are relentlessly curious, challenge assumptions, and persevere through challenges. Their breadth of knowledge across electrical, mechanical, and software disciplines enables them to rapidly isolate contributing factors and lead cross-functional peers through root cause and corrective action workstreams. They are effective at navigating ambiguity, influencing without authority, and delivering results through global partners.

As employees, we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.
