About the role
The work is on-site (5 days).
Responsibilities
- Design and develop processes for factory transformation projects and equipment implementation.
- Improve productivity, quality, equipment performance, energy consumption, and downtime reduction.
- Provide technical/subject matter expertise and guidance for the resolution of manufacturing process and product design problems specific to the welding and/or braze processes.
- Serve as a resource for cause/effect investigations, statistical studies, and corrective action planning.
- Design manufacturing flow lines, workstation layouts, and station controls that optimize efficiency, operating costs, and product quality.
- Be the subject matter expert for code and regulatory compliance for welding processes within the manufacturing facility.
- Uphold manufacturing standards including: machine capability, process maps, set-ups, quality controls, tooling and fixture records, routings and cycle times.
- Generate work instructions, job breakdowns, and standardized work to ensure quality at the source meets product and manufacturing specifications given local needs.
- Partner with on-site EHS to ensure all equipment meets safety regulations compliant with OSHA.
Requirements
- 5+ years engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Project Management, Process Automation and AutoCAD or similar design software experience.
- MIG, TIG welding experience (manual and robotic).
- ASME, AWS, and PED code compliance knowledge.
- Familiarity with pressure vessel welding process.
- Ability to coach, advise and develop teammates and peers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred.
- Candidates without a 4-year degree are encouraged to apply; we prioritize practical experience, relevant skills, and alignment with our leadership principles.
Pay
Annual Base Salary Range: $75,700.00 - $156,200.00. Compensation is salary-based and incentive ineligible.
