Senior Managing Director, Head of IG Fixed Income

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Managing Director, Head of IG Fixed Income to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This leader will oversee the global investment-grade fixed income platform, shaping portfolio strategy in support of enterprise objectives. The role is responsible for driving risk-adjusted returns and liquidity while maintaining disciplined investment performance and risk management. The successful candidate will also unify global investment teams, strengthen leadership standards, and help modernize the platform through technology and innovation. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $255,600 – $366,533 annually Responsibilities Lead the global investment-grade fixed income platform in alignment with enterprise objectives Execute global credit strategies to optimize risk-adjusted returns and liquidity Ensure accountability for investment performance and risk management Direct portfolio construction decisions within established guidelines Integrate global investment teams to foster a unified culture and consistent standards Develop and retain high-performing teams to support organizational effectiveness Drive modernization of the investment platform through technology and innovation Qualifications MBA or Bachelor's degree in Economics or Finance with extensive experience in investments 15+ years of investment management or related experience; 20+ years with a Bachelor's degree 10+ years of leadership experience CFA designation or significant progress toward completion In-depth knowledge of investment-grade fixed-income markets and underwriting Benefits Collaborative work environment with diverse, caring colleagues Encouragement for individuality and innovative thinking Opportunities for career advancement Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
