Job Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a team of consultants.
- Led engagements as part of the Workday Financials Practice and recommend best practices related to Workday functionality.
- Manage support requests related to Workday Financials which requires a great deal of workstream management and cross-functional team collaboration.
- Subject matter expert developing system configuration solutions, composite reports and calculated fields; demonstrate the configurations through the development of prototype systems, and assist the client in testing the Workday solution.
- Modify and redevelop/engineer business processes based on unique client requirements and best practices across the Workday platform.
- Support client-side implementations including assembling data gathering workbooks as well as system testing and UAT.
- Work with clients to help convert legacy data into Workday.
- Establish effective working relationships with clients and outside vendors.
- Identify client enhancement opportunities for existing and new features introduced across new Workday releases.
- Perform peer reviews, manage, train and mentor junior staff.
Requirements
- 6+ years of functional experience with Workday Financial Management with demonstrated success of hands-on experience with delivering Workday solutions in this area.
- 4+ years of experience as an Implementation Manager, or Systems Architect with Workday, a Workday Partner or Workday Client.
- 2+ years of experience doing project management.
- Deep functional knowledge around financial systems and processes with advanced report writing skills; and experience building dashboards, custom validations, condition rules and calculated fields.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
- Adaptive insights solutions experience is a plus.
- Current or previous Workday Certification highly desired including Workday PRO.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
- Ability to support effectively multiple customers concurrently on short duration projects.
- Bachelor’s degree or an advanced degree in Finance/Accounting.
Pay
The expected pay range for this position is $175,000.00 - $225,000.00 USD annually, based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
