The role of Treasury Manager at Harness is a unique opportunity for a treasury professional to build the treasury function from the ground up. This position is responsible for:

  • Building global cash management infrastructure across multiple operating entities and banking partners
  • Managing short-term investment strategy for the company's cash balance in coordination with external advisors
  • Developing and implementing foreign exchange risk management policy across ILS, INR, ARS, GBP, EUR, and other currencies
  • Partnering with Payroll and AP to support multi-country payroll funding and vendor payments
  • Collaborating with Legal and Accounting on capitalization events, tender offers, and equity-related transactions
  • Supporting IPO treasury workstreams: balance sheet presentation, cash flow accuracy, and auditor diligence
  • Evaluating and implementing a treasury management system (TMS) to scale operations efficiently

This role requires:

  • 7-10 years of progressive treasury experience in technology and/or financial services
  • Hands-on global cash management, multi-currency operations, and banking relationship management
  • Prior experience building or significantly expanding a treasury function at a high-growth company
  • Working knowledge of FX risk management, hedging instruments, and ASC 815 hedge accounting
  • Familiarity with treasury management systems and strong financial modeling skills
  • Solid understanding of SOX controls in treasury; IPO or public company audit experience a plus
  • Strong communication skills across time zones

Responsibilities include:

  • Establishing cash management infrastructure
  • Managing intercompany funding and working capital management
  • Developing and implementing cash pooling strategies
  • Managing short-term investment strategy
  • Monitoring FX exposures and recommending hedging strategies
  • Navigating ARS-specific complexities
  • Partnering with Payroll and AP for multi-country payroll funding and vendor payments
  • Supporting IPO treasury workstreams
  • Evaluating and implementing a TMS

About the Role:

As the inaugural in-house Treasury Manager at Harness, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's financial strategy and ensuring efficient cash flow management. Harness is a rapidly growing company with a global presence, and this role will require a strong focus on both operational excellence and strategic planning.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • CPA or CTP preferred
  • Experience in SaaS or high-growth startups

Pay Transparency:

$190,000—$205,000 USD
