This is an in-office role in Miami Gardens, FL, 4 days per week.

About the Role

The Senior Manager, Treasury oversees cash and debt for the organization. Under the direction of the Chief Accounting Officer, this position coordinates Treasury Strategy and Planning. Responsibilities include reporting cash and debt activities, ensuring proper auditing procedures, updating cash and debt totals, and providing variance reporting. This role prepares and reviews cash forecasts and delivers financial analysis to support organizational decisions.

In alignment with our Finance vision, this position supports transforming care for the neediest populations by developing business-focused Finance talent who generate and use information to drive decisions, optimize performance, and ensure accountability through transparency, actionable insights, and education.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes cash flow, evaluates and recommends investment options for exceeding resources, and reviews and proposes financing sources and instruments to meet treasury objectives.
  • Researches and reports on financial, regulatory, and legal changes affecting the organization’s environment.
  • Monitors treasury and credit tracking, including account balances, cash movement, bills, and taxes.
  • Monitors and reports on available cash, cash flow, and financial forecasts daily and periodically.
  • Approves and releases payments, investments, or borrowing as required.
  • Approves intercompany settlements and reconciliations.
  • Creates capital plans and allocates appropriate funds.
  • Tracks capital and in-house expenditures, profitability, risks, losses, letter of credit requirements, and other financial data.
  • Coordinates with external financial institutions to establish and maintain accounts and awareness.
  • Establishes and maintains positive, ongoing relationships with the external financial community.
  • Participates in the financial planning process.
  • Manages and directs team efforts, including hiring, training, coaching, disciplining, and performance management to maintain a skilled and productive workforce.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or modified at manager’s discretion.

Requirements

  • Ability and willingness to be in-office 4 days per week.
  • Ability to adapt to changes quickly and handle confidential data with care.
  • Understanding of the interplay between budget and cash flow, with the ability to read and interpret financial statements as a functional expert.
  • Deep knowledge of the Treasury function of an organization; CPA preferred.
  • Highly organized, results-oriented, and excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Knowledge of investment portfolio strategy, banking, and financial instruments.
  • Advanced analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced spreadsheet and modeling skills.
  • Strong collaboration, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Able to break down problems into meaningful parts and reach rational, well-thought-out conclusions.
  • Demonstrated strong project management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Interest in process improvement.
  • Internally motivated to seek out answers, generate ideas, and develop new skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and database software.
  • Ability and willingness to travel locally, regionally, and nationwide up to 10% of the time.
  • Spoken and written fluency in English.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred.
  • Minimum seven (7) years of related experience.
  • Private equity company experience and/or financing accelerated growth experience preferred.
  • Preferred experience with a Big Four accounting firm.

Pay

Pay Range: $108,313 - $154,733 annually. Final compensation will depend on experience, education, geographic location, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for bonuses or commissions.
